I love the books by Vivian Walsh and J Otto Seibold (Olive the Other
Reindeer) and own many of them but after what some real world snails have done to 'my' iris and zinnias, I am a little ticked off. Who knew a small handful of these guys could eat so much!
So I guess it's head outside after dark with my flashlight and 'relocate' the little guys for the foreseeable future.

I was looking into our backyard this past week-end and thought, "there sure is something odd growing in our lime tree pot." With a little closer inspection I said to M, "that's a cat in there."
We quietly trooped outside, my camera at the ready to catch whoever it was on 'film.' We didn't need to be so quiet as Sasha was quite happy to continue her nap in the sun with only a brief look at us as if to say, "again with the camera?"

Not quite as 'bloomed' as I would have liked but this is the real world we are talking about, not a greenhouse in Chile.
